Sanchalana is not just a fest but an emotion, an expression of joy in its purest form. A fest celebrating art forms, igniting intellectual thoughts, celebrating culture and joy. Rules and Regulations:
1.One team per college. (For colleges other than SVIT)
2.A team can have 10-15 members.
3.Time limit for every team would be a maximum of 10-12 minutes.
4.Negative marking if participants exceed the time limit.
5.Theme selection is open to the team. (For colleges other than SVIT)
6.Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the team from the contest.
7.Teams will be judged on costumes, theme, walking stance, attitude and tagline .
8.Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

The Voice
Rules and Regulations:
Melody round (Indian vocal)
Duet round (Indian Vocal)
Performance round (Indian vocal or Western Vocal)
Indian vocal:
1.The participant shall sing any song of his/ her choice to showcase their talent.
2.Karaoke/CD can be played.
3.If anyone is interested in playing instruments of their choice or willing to make anyone play on their behalf, they are free to do so.
Note that no extra points will be awarded for this.
4.Total time duration is 3+2.
Jury’s decision is final.
Western Vocal:
1.Maximum number of accompanists is two.
2.Language of the song to be selected is only English.
3.Duration is 3+2 minutes.

1. Mehandi design should be creative and unique.
2. Participants can use only normal type of mehandi (no extra colors)
3. Mehandi design should be portrayed on one hand.

Description:

Bridal MakeUp
Rules and Regulations:
All competitors must supply their own kit.
1.Competitors arriving after the start of the competition will not be allowed to compete.
2.No electronic devices or cell phone/ photo usage will be allowed during the competition.
3.Models must arrive with a clean face and no Makeup. If models arrive with Makeup, they will be required to remove the makeup prior to the start of the competition. 4.Each competitor can submit one model only per category.

Skit/Street Play
Rules and Regulations:
1.The team participating in the skit should have a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 8 members.
2.The teams will be allowed a maximum of 2 minutes to prepare the stage and 10 minutes to perform.
3.The Props will have to be arranged by the teams themselves (General furniture like table/chairs will be made available at the event venue; other required items will have to be brought by the team).
4.The script will have to be discussed with the event manager before the event.
5.No use of slang and un-parliamentary language in the skit.
6.The Competition will be judged on the basis of the script, facial expressions, and creative use of props, stage mannerism, coordination, voice modulation and overall performance.
7.Final score shall be decided by aggregating points awarded by a panel of judges.
8.The decision of the organizers of the event shall be final and conclusive.

Short Movie
Rules and Regulations:
1. The time limit for each short film is a maximum of 15+5 minutes.
2. The actors can be of any branch, there are no restrictions.
3. There is no restriction on the place of shooting.
4. The judgment criteria is based on technical aspects of movie making such as direction, cinematography, background score and overall impression of the film.
5. Vulgarity portrayed in any way will lead to immediate disqualification.
6. Soft copy of the movie has to be sent to the technical team three days before the show through mail and also in a pen drive compulsorily.

Carnival Games
1. Pay and Play.
2. Entry fee per individual - Rs. 50
3. Upon entry one gets to play 2 games + spin the wheel(free).
4. To play more games, one has to pay Rs. 25 per game.
Carnival Games Rules:
1. The main rule of the event is Pay-and-Play.
2. The games will be held in multiple stalls which will be cordoned off inside a zone.
3. The entry fee to the zone will be Rs.50/- and upon entry, the participant will be handed a game zone coupon, using which he/she can play any two of the games.
4. To play another game, he/she has to pay Rs.25-/ per game.
5. Exciting gifts and goodies will be presented to the winners of these games.
6. Players who score multiple streak points while playing a given game will be given exciting prizes.

Simple Do’s and Don'ts:
1. You can enter the game zone without a game zone coupon, but DO NOT take part in any of the games if that is the case.
2. If you are found engaging in any games inside the game zone without a game zone coupon, you will be levied a fine of Rs.40/-
3. DO NOT try to cheat in any games. This is a completely fun-centered event. Play with joy and bring out the kid inside you.
4. Come in large numbers and encourage your friends to play alongside and have the best time.

Tug Of War
Description:
A type of sport in which two teams show their strength by pulling against each other at the opposite ends of a rope, and each team tries to pull the other over a line on the ground.

Description:
The participants will touch the object inside the box and identify what is in the box.
Rules and Regulations:

2.The participants will be blind folded and would have to touch/smell the object inside the box and identify it.

Cooking Without Fire
Rules and Regulations:
1. There will be a time limit of 1hour 30mins
2. Participants should be present at the venue 15 minutes prior to the start of the competition.
3. Participants are required to bring their own cutlery and utensils
4. Participants are required to bring all necessary ingredients for cooking
5. Cleanliness and hygiene of the participants' workspace has to be maintained at all times.
6.Pre-cooked items, ready mixes, alcohol or intoxicating items are not allowed
7.Only 2 participants will be allowed inside the venue of the competition and spectators are not allowed inside.
8. No processed juice, precooked meat, vegetables, and icing is allowed.
9. Cutting/peeling of fruits or vegetables to be done on spot.
10. All types of sauces are allowed
11. All marinating to be done on spot
12. Each participant has to prepare 2 dishes.

Treasure Hunt
1. All teams must have at least 2 members and no more than 4 members.
2. Teams must stay together during the Treasure Hunt and are encouraged to work together to solve the clues.
3. Each team will be given “Clues” at the beginning of the treasure hunt. All of the treasure hunt clues will be in a paper. It will be up to the teams to decipher the clues and safely acquire the next clue from each of the locations. Each clue once solved will lead you to a location where you will be able to collect another “Treasure Hunt Clue”.
4. Teams will be scored on the total value of the clues collected and the amount of time taken. Once all coins are collected teams must return to the finish in order to be counted as finished. Clue values will be determined based on the difficulty of the clue.
5. Each team in the hunt is assigned a number. A paper with this number on it is provided to you at sign in on the day of the hunt. It will be used by Hunt coordinators to spot check compliance with the safety rules.
6. “Clues” will be distributed to team members at that time and may be opened and the teams may start solving the clues and retrieving “Treasure Hunt Clues”.
7. Disqualification will result from any of the following
a. Damaging any property
b. Interfering with other teams or their members in any way
c. Copying from other teams.
d. Stealing from other teams .

Slow Drag
1. Riders must wear proper ISO approved helmets.
2. Riders must stay in their lane and cannot change the lane.
3. Riders must not touch the ground with their feet after the start of the race.
4. Any participant who rides out of the lane or touches the ground is disqualified.
5. Last one to cross the finish line wins.
6. In case no rider crosses the finish line the last rider standing before being disqualified wins.
7. First prize will be awarded to the last one standing.
8. There will be three winners, first, second and third.

Vegetable Carving
Rules and Regulations:
1.Participants must bring the ingredients for vegetable carving.
2.Peelers, knives and other instruments are to be brought by the participants and the cutting or peeling of the vegetables is to be done at the venue of the competition.
3.Things needed for vegetable carving and presentation, such as plates, trays and cloth etc., are to be brought by the participants.
4.The participants will have a time limit of 1 hour.
5.The number of participants in a group is limited to only 2 to 3 members.

Best Out of Waste
Rules to be followed:
1. Number of participants in a group is limited to 2-3 members.
2. The required waste material and the stationery like scissor, thread, and cutter should be brought by the participants.
3. Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material or any second hand items that otherwise would be thrown away.
4. The material would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second hand item.
5. No ready or semi-finished model would be accepted from participant in the competition.
6. Participants will be given 1 hour to show their creativity.
7. The judge’s decision will be final and cannot be questioned or challenged.
